Future Business Leaders of America just had their state and walked away with many wins! Some even will go as far as Nationals. 

FBLA started towards Springfield on April 4th and was up there until the 6th. More than half of the competition was on Friday the 5th, while the remaining events were on Saturday the 6th. 

In 10th place for Broadcast Journalism, Ryleigh Pitman, Stephanie Gorcowski, & David Young. The group presented on both the first and second day. Also, in 10th for Electronic Career Portfolio, Emmarie Bires. 

For 9th, in UX design, Joshua Jones. Later Alex Estes also placed 9th for Business Communication. We then have the group, Keegan Weber, Michael Cagle, & Waylon Hall, all placing 9th in Sports & Entertainment Management. 

Emily Hosmon placed 8th in the Local Chapter Report, and Austin Gilliam & Eli Long got 8th in Website Coding. Madeline Boyd got 7th for Spreadsheet Applications while Katie Medows also received 7th place for Healthcare administration. 

For all of the 6th place winners, we have Bailey Kern for Word Processing, Delaney Harrison for Sales presentation, and Cooper Bennett, Gracie Craft, & Maddie Martin for Intro to Event Planning. Then we have 4th place winner Russell Caldwell in Database Design. However, Russell does not plan to attend Nationals. He has said he is very happy with his placing but Nationals would be too much. 

Finally, for the students who advanced to Nationals, Katie Meadows and Chris Banks. Katie got 4th in Partnership w/Business Project and Chris got 1st place in Computer Applications.
