I recently got to try the new local coffee sensation, 7 Brew, which just recently came to Marion, Illinois.

I was immediately shocked when I arrived at the restaurant due to the lack of anything other than a two-lane drive-through and some parking spots. Along with this, instead of ordering at a board, they have people out taking every single order. On their website, it mentions that they aim to have quick service and to build relationships with the communities their stores are located in. They delivered on this, as the staff was extremely friendly and the drinks came out very quickly even though there were three of us and we each got a coffee.

Similar to a place like Smoothie King, they serve only drinks, but are they any good? The verdict: yes! The drinks we ordered were all amazing. The hot drinks came out hot and the cold drinks were all ice cold, in addition to them all tasting amazing.

I ordered the White Chocolate Mocha Chiller, and it was one of the best frozen coffee drinks I’ve ever had. Even despite the menu sounding like it might be limited, it definitely is not! They have a very wide selection of drinks for even those who don’t like coffee. Not only were the service and drinks both great, but they boast competitive pricing compared to other coffee shops like Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts. 

In all, 7 Brew Coffee is a wonderful new addition to Marion that I hope to see last for a very long time. 7 Brew Coffee can be found at 2816 Joseph Cannon Way, Marion, IL. Because the coffee shop is so new, it has only 7 reviews on Google, but they are all mostly positive reviews that are very much deserved. I hope to see more people there, as my entire experience was extremely positive and I hope to see our local 7 Brew do well. Overall, I would give 7 Brew Coffee a 7/10 for the extremely friendly service and the great drinks.
