Herrin High School’s Musical, “All Together Now!” is coming up! Leading up to the show, the Journalism Team will spotlight the seniors performing in the show.

Kira Brewer is thrilled to be onstage! This is her 2nd show, her first musical was Annie at HES. She’ll be performing as Chava in Fiddler on the Roof’s “Matchmaker,” and as Mrs. Corey in Mary Poppin’s “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.”

Her favorite musical is Hairspray and she’s most excited to perform “You Can’t Stop the Beat” in the role of Penny. She decided to audition “because it was my senior year and from previous years I didn’t get to do any extracurricular activities.” Kira also stated that “all my dream roles are being fulfilled in the musical I am in now.”
