So after Wyatt beat cancer for the first time and he was first back at school, I just said hi to him in the hallway one day, and of course, he said hi back. He smiled at me, and ever since then, we have been talking. He’s just such a great person. It’s great to talk to him. Just outgoing, a great personality, he’s kind to everybody, and never meets a stranger, he’s just such a great person, so inspiring. He inspires me to keep going every day because I think something’s going bad in my life, like a test or something, but then I just look at Wyatt and I realize all the stuff he’s going through but he’s still fighting to be at school, fighting to walk around and say hi to everybody. It’s just so amazing how he keeps going because he wants to see all his friends. He just, like, every time I see him, he calls me his little sister. I don’t have an older sibling, so it’s something amazing. We have a special bond. He always hugs me and tells me he loves me. He just shows me what love really feels like because he’s just such a great person. Probably on Valentine’s Day, I went up to him and he gave me a big hug and said, “Hey, little sis!” And then he kissed me on the cheek and said, “Happy Valentine’s Day.” And he told me all about his date idea for Lauren, and I was trying to help him come up with ideas. It was just a really great moment.
