In case you have not already heard, a new Chiptole just opened up in Marion. As you could probably guess it has been pretty packed since it opened on December 23 a few weeks ago.
When I went there were not actually that many people there because it had been snowing most of the day and I was one of the only people willing to go anywhere in the snow. An important thing to note is that although Chipotle technically has a drive it is for pick-up orders only so unless you order ahead of time online, you are not able to use the drive-through. With that being said, when I got there I went inside and got in line.
The line wasn’t too long because of the weather and it was moving decently fast so it wasn’t long before I was able to order. If you are unfamiliar with Chipotle, the way it works is that when you order you say if you want a taco, burrito, or a bowl, and then you tell them what you want to be put on your food.
There are some other things on their menu that you can get but those are the big three. I got a burrito with chicken, cheese, rice, and salsa on it. I also got a small soda along with that. For all of that, it cost me about $12. For what you pay they give you a decent amount of food; the burrito I got was decently large and it was more than enough for me to feel satisfied. The service there was very good. Not only were they fast but they were also very personable as well.
I would also like to note that the inside was very clean and it looked pretty nice as well. All in all, I would say that it was a good experience; the place had good service, the food itself was pretty good, and I was able to get in and get out relatively quickly. In the end, I would give it a solid 8 out of 10.
