The Eras Tour: Taylor’s Version

“Just be yourself, there is no one better.”- Taylor Swift

Two Taylor Swift fans excited about the Eras Tour.

On November 1, 2022 Taylor Swift took the world by storm when she announced her Eras tour through all of her social media accounts and on Good Morning America. This will be her first concert tour in five years and will also be her sixth headlining concert tour. Swift describes it as, “A journey through the musical eras of my career.”

On November 15 the presale began, tickets were on sale anywhere from $49 to $449. The company’s website did end up crashing almost immediately after the sale began but even with the website crashing and fans becoming extremely impatient 2.4 million people still managed to get tickets that day, breaking the all-time record for the most concert tickets sold by an artist in a single day. She will be visiting twenty different cities and the whole tour will be a total of fifty two shows.

The tour began on March 17, in Glendale, Arizona and will end on August 9,  in Inglewood, California. On this tour Taylor is going to play songs from all of her albums, so even fans who only listen to her older songs can attend and have a fun time. She will also be performing two secret songs each night as a surprise to the fans.

Each show is scheduled to begin around 6:30p.m. but due to several outfit and set changes they will not end until after 11:00p.m., making her performance over three hours long. During Taylor Swift’s whole career she has done a fantastic job at proving she knows what the fans will enjoy during her shows.

J. Watt states, “You can tell when somebody does something at the top of their game and is trying to do the right way for their fans,” He continued his video post on Instagram by saying, “This is done the right way for the people paying money to come and see her.”
