HHS students haven’t had the experience of a real basketball season since the 2019-2020 school year. I know that everyone, including myself, is ready to see the basketball teams back on the courts. On a scale of 1 to 5, with five being the most excited, 56.1% of students said that they are so excited for the boys and girls to be playing somewhat normally again.

In this week’s survey, students reported their favorite parts of basketball season. The majority of the respondents are looking forward to hearing the band play again and cheering on the team again. One student says, “My favorite thing about basketball season is being able to be in the crowd and cheer for my team.” Our student section is something that is widely known, so I hope to see a great turnout at the games.

Personally, I can’t wait to be able to see our basketball teams playing again. The “Loud Crowd” is something that brings our school together that we’ve been missing out on for the last two years. Along with 81% of the people who responded, I’m super excited to get out and support the teams! Let’s go Tigers!
