Jakob Milani is a senior at Herrin High School.

Academically, Jakob participates in Scholar Bowl and Journalism. He has been awarded second place at Journalism Sectionals for Sports Writing and qualified to compete at IHSA Journalism State.

Athletically, Milani is a part of Herrin High’s football team. 

After high school, Jakob wants to attend college and receive a degree in Sports Journalism.

Milani’s top favorite aspects of high school are football games, basketball games, teachers, the band and his friends.

During this quarantine, Jakob has been keeping up with schoolwork, working on scholarships, house cleaning and playing video games.

Mostly during this time, Jakob has been missing his classmates, teachers and his journalism class.
