In a recent interview they were asked what was their motivation to get good grades. They both said to keep their parents happy and to get into a good college.
They were then asked what their plans were for college… Elijah (12) said he doesn’t know what he wants to study or what college he wants to go to, yet. Abby (10) said that her dream college is UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) but she doesn’t know what she wants to study.
Elijah has been on the football, baseball, and wrestling teams here at HHS for 3 years.
Abby plans on doing HOSA, FBLA, scholar bowl, Spanish club, and student chamber. She did FBLA and student chamber last year but the rest will be new to her this year.
They were finally asked what faculty or staff has influenced them he lost at HHS. Elijah said the varsity football coach, Mr. Karnes, is a very good coach and an all around good guy. Abby said that the Arts and Crafts teacher, Mrs. Bleyer, is a very understanding teacher and really helps her with her art.
