This fall, athletes from Herrin and Carterville worked together to pull off a wonderful soccer season.

The improvements made by the young team give way to hopes of bigger and better achievements for future seasons.  This year of building set the foundation for connected plays and communication on the field that can only be improved upon.  To wrap up the season, the team faced the Effingham Flaming Hearts in the regional semifinal and defeated them with a score of 2-1.

They then advanced to the IHSA regional championship to play the Carbondale Terriers.

The boys played a tough game but lost to Carbondale 0-5.

The team ended their season with 8 conference wins and 9 losses and high hopes and aspirations for next year.
