After a year full of highlights plays, big scores, and huge victories, the Tigers season has come to an end. This season had many big milestones, including records broken by Seniors Tate Johnson and Jackson Yates, and another broken by Junior Chance Karnes.

The Tigers also had many huge victories this season, winning on their season opener, homecoming, and senior night, as well as a big win against rival town Carterville.

After a 7-2 regular season, capped with another conference championship, Herrin punched their ticket to the playoffs. Herrin was placed surprisingly low at a 12 seed, and was set to play the 5 seed Pontiac Indians.

Sadly, the game did not go as planned. The Tigers were defeated 48-7 in their last game of the 2018 season. Their record to end the season was 7-3.
