As the new year rolls around, Herrin student journalists have been working hard to finish yearbook spreads of all events, sports and clubs from last semester, as well as preparing to cover all events this semester. This year they have started the first ever online edition of the Tiger Tattler and have been working on perfecting how it works.  

Students in the journalism class along with a few of the club members will have the opportunity to compete in the SISPA competition at SIU. The competition will allow journalism students from area schools to compete in events such as copy editing, sports writing, photography, ad design, and more.  This event promotes competition and provides inspiration for students to sharpen their skills!

Be sure to wish your Tiger Journalists good luck on Wednesday, February 21.
