The Pink Out game is an annual celebration for Herrin High school and is always held during basketball season. So who really does back the pink and put all this together?

Herrin High School’s student government helps plan and prepare for the special game. Student government sells ads for the shirts, plans the pep assembly; and at the game they have the rose walk for survivors of cancer, and a memory wall of ribbons for you to write the name of a loved one who passed away from cancer.

After the game is the Pink Out dance were you can win prizes and hangout with your friends. The game is after the game until 11:30pm in the school gymnasium.

Student government raised $4,000 this year, and it will be donated to the American Cancer Society.  Williamson County only raises $35,000 for the year which makes Herrin High one of the biggest contributors. That says a lot for a bunch of high school students!

For the rest of the year, student government aids in the senior scholarship, the teacher appreciation gifts and any other pep rallies the school needs!
