Over the weekend the Herrin Tigerettes competed at the Herrin regional I.D.T.A Competition hosted by the Herrin Flags Team.  The girls competed in the AA Hip-Hop category and the AA Pom category.  They received first place in both categories.  

Jayci Nantz received a rising star award. A rising star award is given by the floor judge at every I.D.T.A competition.  They pick someone with outstanding showmanship and and perform with a great quality that stands out.  

The competition was a great day with the Tiger Nation performers to finish out the competition for everyone.  Thanks to Chase Flowers and Jacob Kerrigan we got to see their talents.  Overall the first competition of the 2017-2018 year was great!
